Garhwa Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) has advertised the contractual recruitment under Agriculture Extension (Krishi Unnati Yojana) for Block Technology Managers (BTMs) and Assistant Technology Managers (ATMs). Selection Process
- BTM: Assign 50 marks for educational qualifications (B.Sc Agri/Allied-30, M.Sc Agri/Allied-10, PGDAEM-10), 20 marks for computer knowledge, 20 marks for work experience and 10 marks for special weightage.
- ATM: Assign 60 marks for educational qualifications (Intermediate-10, B.Sc Agri/Allied-35, M.Sc Agri/Allied-15), 30 marks for computer knowledge and 10 marks for special weightage.
- Set the cut-off at 50 marks for unreserved candidates and 40 marks for reserved candidates.
- The selection committee will prepare the merit list, conduct the computer skill test and verify documents.

- The application form should be filled with utmost care and details. Separate application forms are needed for each post; post name should be written on the envelope.
- Attach self-attested copies of all necessary documents, including educational and experience certificates, residence and caste proof, computer proficiency certificates, bank statements and a sworn affidavit as per the notice. Ensure all documents are complete and clear to avoid rejection.

In order to qualify, applicants must possess the necessary educational qualifications, as well as specific experience pertaining to Agriculture or Agriculture-related Fields. For BTM, a postgraduate degree will be the minimum required; while for ATM, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree is necessary and must include field-related experience. Also, in order to qualify for reservation benefits, the applicant must possess computer skills and be a resident of the State of Jharkhand.
The Applicant must complete the Application Form in full, attach self-attested copies of the required documents and include the Application Fee in a Demand Draft. The required documentation includes Educational Certificates, Experience Letters, Proof of Caste and Residency, Proof of Computer Skills, Affidavit etc. The Applicant must send the Application by Registered Post or Speed Post, to the Project Director, ATMA Garhwa, prior to the deadline.
The method of selection will involve merit-based evaluations of all applicants and evaluate all applicants for computer skills. In addition, special merit weightage will also be given for prior experience with ATMA/SAMETI. After the selection merit list is created, the Authorities will conduct a Computer Skills Test and verify the required documents. Candidates that qualify will have to obtain minimum cut-off marks in order to be eligible for unreserved and reserved categories.
