Bankura Guest Teachers and Staff Recruitment 2025 – Walk-in Interview for 42 Posts
The walk-in interview process for the appointment of ex-teachers and retired government employees as guest teachers, guest grade-C and guest grade-D staff on contract with the government model schools and new integrated government schools in various blocks has been started by the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Bankura, Government of West Bengal. Such age-eligible candidates who are more than 64 years and less than 65 years as on January 01, 2026 can apply by attending the interview. Selection Process
- Registered walk-in and document verification on a date as published.
- Personal interview through the Selection Committee at the venue.
- Assessment of academic qualifications, teaching experience and subject knowledge.
- Preference for the retired candidates for Bankura district schools and offices.
- Finally, preparing the merit list and engaging candidates immediately or soon.

- Go to Notices section to find the Recruitment for “engagement of retired guest Teacher”.
- Prepare a handwritten or typed application on an A4 sized sheet in which you should mention: Name of post applied for, your full name, Father’s name, Complete address, Mobile number, Date of Birth, Date of Retirement, PPO No., Last place of Employment, Subject (for teachers)
- The original PPO along with the original copies of all Educational/Professional Certificates (Madhyamik, HS, Graduation, PG, B. Ed./D. El. Ed. etc.) must be carried by you.
- The original of the appointment approval memo and service documents confirming that you were a regular, approved teacher of the State Government must be brought with you.
- You must bring with you 2 sets of self-attested photocopies of all your documents and 2 current passport-sized photographs.
- As proof of identification you will need to bring either your Aadhaar Card or some other Form of Photo ID.
- Your attention is drawn to the Correct Date and Venue (Dec 16, 2025 at Bankura, Dec 18, 2025 at Khatra, Dec 23, 2025 at Bishnupur) between 10.00 AM and 11.00 AM, in order to register for document verification and interview which commence at 11.00 AM on each date.
- No applications will be accepted prior to registration and no online applications will be accepted for this recruitment, you do not need to pay any fee or apply for Travelling Allowance/ Daily Allowance.

The recruitment will provide posts of Guest Teachers and Guest Gr.-C and Guest Gr.-D staff in Government Model Schools and New Integrated Government Schools in various blocks of Bankura District. The retired teachers and retired government employees are free to apply under the opportunities provided that they qualify, particularly those less than 64 years old as of January 1, 2026.
Government-sponsored and DPSC schools Retired teachers, employees who are retired can be used. Along with that, the candidates should be under 64 years old as of January 1, 2026. They should also be physically fit and capable of doing full time jobs that include teaching, evaluation work and other responsibilities that are assigned to them.
The candidates are expected to bring their application in plain papers, original PPO, academic and professional certificates, mark sheets, approval of appointment and any other necessary papers. Two copies of self-attested copy of the documents are also required. The applicants will be required to present themselves between 10 AM and 11 AM on the day of interview.
