The candidates to apply should have an MBBS degree with a corresponding MD, MS, DNB or PG Diploma issued by the recognized institution. The registered candidates must have either the Punjab Medical Council or Medical Council of India and should have passed Punjabi to Matric level. The cut-off date that is stipulated is 64 years of age.
The selection is purely through walk-in interviews in the Office of the Civil Surgeon of the district in question. It will not have a written exam or separate interview call letter. The candidates will be required to present themselves on the day that is provided and bring the original documents along with a print of the application form done online to be verified.
The applicants should apply via the official NHM Punjab recruitment portal. Applicants who succeed in submissions are then required to turn up in the walk in interview on the date indicated. Entries made in any other channel will not be received and applications left incomplete or those with errors on them can result in disqualification.
