UPSC CDS 1 Final Result 2025 – Released

Union Public Service Commission has announced the final result for Officers Training Academy (OTA) through Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025, on December 30, 2025. The candidates appeared for SSB interviews can now access and download their merit list PDF from upsc.gov.in containing the roll numbers and names of shortlisted candidates. A total of 535 candidates (473 Men & 62 Women) have been selected for training at OTA, Chennai, according to their performance in both written and SSB tests. This is an excellent opportunity for defense candidates to get Government Jobs at Tamil Nadu to work as Short Service Commissioned officers.

Important Instructions for Qualified Candidates
Your candidature remains provisional. You must submit original certificates of age and educational qualifications for verification to Army Headquarters.
The merit list does not consider medical examination results. You must clear the medical examination to remain eligible.
After successful verification and medical clearance, the concerned authority will issue your Joining Letter.
You will undergo training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai with courses commencing in 2026.
UPSC will upload the marks sheets of candidates on its website within 15 days of the result declaration. These marks sheets will remain available for 30 days.

Visit the official website: www.upsc.gov.in
On the home page, navigate to the “What’s New” section or click on the “Examinations” tab.
Look for the link titled Final Result: “Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025(OTA)”.
Click on the link and it will open the merit list PDF.
Press Ctrl + F to search for either your Roll Number or your Name.
