Reservation Rules and Special Eligibility Provisions

  • SC/ST Reservation: Applicants will be required to have caste certificates in proforma.
  • OBC Reservation Certificate: The certificate must have information of Non-Creamy Layer and must be valid for one year as mentioned in the notification.
  • EWS Reservation: Those who fall under SC/ST/OBC-NCL and have Gross Annual Family Income less than Rs. They should pay an amount of 8,000/- along with satisfying all other conditions.
  • PwBD Reservation: The notification provides for a minimum disability percentage for the benefit that applies.
  • Travel Expenses: IRCTC will not be liable to pay daily allowance or conveyance allowance/travelling allowance during document verification.
  • Trade Allocation: The candidate cannot get opted for a change in trade of his/her selection.
