Paper I (Primary – Classes 1 to 5)
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with min. 50%.
  • Completed or appearing in the final year of 2-year D.El.Ed.
  • OR Senior Secondary with 45% & 2-year D.El.Ed in accordance
    with NCTE 2002 norms.
  • Or graduation and have completed or are appearing in the final
    year of the 2-year D.El.Ed program.
Paper II (Upper Primary – Classes 6 to 8)
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks.
  • Passed or appearing in the final year of a 1-year or 2-year B.Ed.
  • OR Senior Secondary with 50% and passed/appearing in the final
    year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
  • Or graduation and either completed or currently appearing in the
    final year of the 2-year D.El.Ed course.

Application Fee

  • General Category: Rs. 350/- for one paper (Rs. 600/- for both)
  • OBC Category: Rs. 250/- for one paper (Rs. 400/- for both)
  • SC / ST / PwD Category: Rs. 200/- for one paper (Rs. 300/- for both)

Pay Scale

  • Primary Teacher (PRT): Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 35,400/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/-
  • Upper Primary Teacher (TGT): Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 44,900/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/-
  • In-Hand Salary: Approximately Rs. 38,000/- to Rs. 45,000/- depending on post and location.

Selection Process

  • The candidates have to turn up for an offline written test by CG Vyapam.
  • It examines teaching talent and subject matter knowledge as per TET norms.
