NTA JEE Main Session 1 Admit Card 2026 – Released

National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NTA JEE Main Session 1 Admit Card 2026 of the aspirants who want to be admitted in the top-ranked engineering and architecture courses. This is a required hall ticket of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) Session 1, which allows admission to BE and B.Tech and B.Arch and B.Planning programs in NITs, IIITs, as well as in Centrally Funded Technical Institutions. Candidates preparing for All Govt Jobs in India and competitive engineering admissions can now access their exam city details and download their admit cards using their application credentials.

Eligibility Criteria

BE / B.Tech (Paper 1)
  • Applicants should have completed Class 12th or equivalent examination in 2024/2025.
  • Candidates appearing for Class 12th or equivalent in 2026 are also eligible to apply.
  • Must have studied Physics and Mathematics as core subjects, along with Chemistry,
    Biology, Biotechnology or relevant technical/vocational subjects.
B.Arch (Paper 2A)
  • Applicants should have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025.
  • Students appearing for Class 12th or equivalent in 2026 can also apply.
  • Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry must be studied at the 10+2 level.
B.Planning (Paper 2B)
  • Applicants should have completed Class 12th or equivalent examination in 2024/2025.
  • Students appearing for Class 12th or equivalent in 2026 are eligible.
  • Mathematics must be included as a subject in the qualifying examination.

Application Fee

  • General/OBC/EWS (Male): Rs. 1,000/-
  • General/OBC/EWS (Female): Rs. 800/-
  • SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: Rs. 500/-
  • Outside India (General/OBC/EWS): Rs. 5,000/-

Application Mode

  • Submission Type: Online Mode only via the official NTA portal.
  • Payment Gateway: Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI.

Pay Scale

  • Financial Assistance: This is an entry exam to apply to the school; though, in specialized technical schooling the successful applicants can get scholarships.
  • Stipend during Internships: Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- depending on the recruiting organization and institute.

Selection Process

  • Take part in the Computer Based Test (CBT) of B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch or B.Planning papers.
  • NTA also gives All India Rank (AIR) on the basis of Percentile Score on shifts.
  • Register on JoSAA or CSAB in terms of institutes.
  • Checking of academic documents, category certificates and identity documents.
  • Send medical fitness certificate by a registered practitioner.

Steps to Check and Download JEE Main Session 1 Admit Card 2026

  • Visit the official NTA portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in to start the registration process
  • Register an account with a working email address and mobile number to get your Application Number.
  • Undergo the compulsory Aadhaar or DigiLocker identity authentication.
  • Enter personal information such as name, contact details and parent/guardian details.
  • Type in properly the educational qualifications, including Class 10 and 12 details.
  • you get to pick your favorite cities to take the exam; you also get to pick your favorite papers to take (Paper 1, Paper 2A, Paper 2B).
  • Add scanned documents: passport size photograph (10-200 KB) and signature (4-30 KB) in JPG/JPEG.
  • Attach Class 10/12 mark sheets and category/PwD certificates (maximum 50-300 KB), when available, in PDF form.
  • Make online payment of application fee by use of credit/debit card, net banking or UPI.
  • Prior to final submission, read all information to confirm that there is accuracy.
