High Court of Judicature at Allahabad calls for applications from serving/retired Government Servants for appointment to the post of Special Judicial Magistrates on fixed honorarium basis in the State of Uttar Pradesh. Selection Process
- The final selection and appointment are made exclusively by the Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.
- All applications are carefully scrutinised by the concerned District Judge of the respective district.
- The District Judge forwards the applications, which are found suitable, to the High Court along with detailed remarks and recommendations.
- The High Court considers the applications, documents and remarks of the District Judge that have been forwarded.

- Go to the “Recruitment” section and locate the advertisement entitled “Appointment on the Posts of Special Judicial Magistrate”
- Download the prescribed application format provided in the notification.
- Fill all the columns of the application completely and correctly; incomplete forms are rejected.
- Enclose self-attested photocopies of all required documents including last 5 years character roll/ACR entries. (Exemption is given to former SJMs)
- Former SJMs applying for re-appointment must enclose four best judgments delivered earlier.
- Submit the application physically in complete form to the District Judge, Ballia/Lalitpur/ Mainpuri, of the district for which the applicant is applying.
- Ensure that the application reaches the concerned District Judge on or before January 27, 2026.
