The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) invites online applications from Indian citizens for the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Examination 2025 to fill 111 posts under the Education Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates with the required qualifications and eligibility are invited to apply online by 08 September 2025. Selection will be based on a written examination (mains) and viva-voce with a recruitment test if the number of applicants exceeds the desired ratio. Successful candidates will be appointed in Arunachal Pradesh.

Pay Scale

  • PGT: Pay Matrix Level-8, Rs. 47,600 – Rs. 1,51,100 (Group-B, Gazetted) plus admissible allowances.

Selection Process

  • Shortlisted candidates need to appear for the written examination (mains) held by the Department of Secondary Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
  • The written examination includes General English, General Studies, Aptitude and Pedagogy (Objective, 150 marks), Concerned Subject Paper-I (Descriptive, 150 marks) and Concerned Subject Paper-II (Descriptive, 150 marks).
  • A Viva-Voce (interview) will be held by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) after the written examination.

  • Register through One Time Registration (OTR) if not registered or log in using the same credentials.
  • Go to the “Recruitment” tab and locate the Post Graduate Teacher Examination 2025 advertisement.
  • Go through the entire notification thoroughly to verify eligibility.
  • Click on the “Apply Online” button and enter the necessary information in the application form.
  • Upload scanned signature, photo, academic certificates, APST/PRC/Aadhaar, disability certificate (if applicable) and government service order for age relaxation.
  • Submit the application fee online according to your respective category.
  • Submit the application form with the highest Registration ID (RID) if multiple applications are submitted.
  • Print a copy of the submitted application form for your records.
