Hiring Procedure for Arunachal Pradesh SSB Group C Recruitment 2026
- Stage 1 (For Post 12/26 Only):
- Stenography Proficiency Test – Qualifying
- Dictation – 5-minute session which requires transcription of material at a speed of 80 words per minute
- Candidates will spend 45 minutes to complete their English transcription test on a computer.
- The established error rate limit for all test takers is set at 8 percent while APST candidates receive an increased limit of 10 percent.
- Only candidates who successfully complete Stage 1 testing are permitted to participate in Stage 2 which serves as the selection process for Stenographer positions at APST.
- Stage 2 (All Posts):
- The written test consists of objective-type multiple-choice questions, which have a total score of 200 marks and a testing time of 2 hours.
- The General Awareness component of the test has a total score of 50 marks.
- General Intelligence & Reasoning – 50 marks
- Arithmetical & Numerical Ability – 50 marks
- The English Language and Comprehension component in the exam carries a total of 50 marks (25 questions at 2 marks each).

- Please provide your personal information together with the positions you want to apply for and your identification documents which should include Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving License and PAN details.
