- Completed NATS Registration for Engineering Graduates through the national portal for Graduate and Diploma posts.
- Complete your profile up to 100% and verify your Aadhaar details on the respective portal.
- Download the application form, attached with the recruitment notification at the official website.
- Fill in all the particulars in the physical form with regard to personal and academic details accurately.
- Carry the application form duly filled, together with an attested photocopy set of all certificates
- Attend the walk-in selection to BEL at Nandambakkam, Chennai on the date specified for the discipline, with all original documents for spot verification by the recruitment committee.
FAQs
The candidates of Southern Region states, such as Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala and Pondicherry, have to meet the eligibility criterion of the notification. The applicants who have completed their courses such as Graduation, Diploma or ITI during the periods of 2021-2025 with the requisite percentage of marks are eligible to apply for the posts. The engineering or Diploma graduates have to attain 60% of marks, while SC or ST candidates have to attain 50%. The candidates who have not undergone apprenticeships under NATS or NAPS have to apply for the given notification.
Applicants must bring their 10th and 12th mark cards in original, consolidated semester mark sheets and their Degree/Provisional certificates. A valid Aadhaar and a printed NATS/NAPS registration form are also required. If an applicant is seeking a reservation benefit, a Caste/EWS recent certificate is required after April 2025.
The training is an apprenticeship for one year, which is mandatory in nature; however, passing of the same shall make the candidates eligible for a Trainee Engineer Vacancy in BEL on performance basis. High-performing apprentices are invited to take a screening test for short-term engagement. Those selected as Trainee Engineers receive a consolidated monthly remuneration starting at Rs 30,000/- with annual increments.
