Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defense, has announced recruitment to engineering assistant trainee (EAT) and technician ‘C’ posts on a permanent basis for its Panchkula device. Candidates with necessary qualifications are invited to search the web by November 05, 2025. Pay scale
- Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): Rs. 24,000/- per month during 6 months training; after training: Rs. 24,500 – 3% – 90,000/- + allowances.
- Technician ‘C’: Rs. 21,500 – 3% – Rs. 82,000/- + allowances.
- Allowances: DA, HRA, perquisites (30% of basic), medical reimbursement, PF, pension, gratuity.
Selection Process
- Only those candidates satisfying eligibility criteria and having their valid applications submitted online will appear in the shortlist for the Computer Based Test (CBT).
- The Computer Based Test will consist of 150 marks, out of which Part -I general aptitude comprises 50 marks and Part II technical aptitude comprises 100 marks with minimum qualifying marks of 35% each for General/ OBC/ EWS and 30% for SC/PwBD.
- Merit list will be prepared on the basis of CBT scores and in case of tie, weightage shall be given to higher technical marks, then general aptitude, qualification percentage with age seniority.
- Provisionally shortlisted candidates for document verification will be called against the defunct test scores of CBT, for production of original certificates along with caste/disability proofs and Haryana Employment Exchange registration.
- Subject to passing a medical fitness examination held by BEL not to have color blindness and verification of all details.

The candidate must be an Indian citizen with the qualifications as prescribed. For the Engineering Assistant Trainee, three-year diploma holders in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering are preferred, but for Technician ‘C,’ this can be SSLC plus ITI + one-year apprentice training in concerned trade.
Candidates are selected in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) from a place situated in Panchkula. The CBT encompasses General Aptitude and Technical Aptitude in four sections, carrying a total of 150 marks.
