Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC), Bihar has called for online applications from Indian citizens interested in Indian Police Jobs to recruit Prohibition Constable, Jail Warder and Document Verification Constable posts in the Home Department (Reserve Branch) under the Government of Bihar. Selection Process
- The written examination is of 10th (Matric) level, covering subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, Science, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
- Objective type examination having 100 questions (1 mark each), OMR based with a total time of 2 hours and a least qualifying mark of 30%.
- The written exam is only qualifying in nature and is conducted to shortlist candidates for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
- The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) includes running, shot put and high jump, carrying a total of 100 marks; candidates must qualify in all events.
- Jail Warder candidates under the Home Guard or Ex-Servicemen quota are exempted from the PET.
- Admission on Document Verification The candidates are required to keep original and attested photocopies of all required documents pertaining to the educational qualification, age as well as reservation and any other eligibility criteria.
