The selection process is applicable in two stages. The first stage is an online written test that will assess candidates’ ability in Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English and Computer Knowledge. Candidates who pass the online written test will need to appear for a Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Both stages are qualifying in nature and will be mandatory to qualify for selection.

No. This recruitment is for fresh graduates only. Candidates must have graduated from their degree on or after 1 April 2021 and not have more than a year of post-qualification work experience. Candidates who had undergone or are undergoing an apprenticeship in any organization are also not eligible.

Will reserved candidates have an age relaxation?

Yes, age relaxation is provided as per government regulations. There will be a 5-year relaxation for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and there will be a 3-year relaxation for Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) will have a 10-year relaxation, in addition if the woman or candidates affected by riots or similar conditions might have provided additional concession.

Can I select multiple states or districts while applying?

No, the application is for one state/ district only. Candidates need to choose their preference of state carefully as it is prohibited for applicants to apply in more than one state, and they will be automatically disqualified. Furthermore, the applicant of a Apprenticeship must be proficient in the local language of the state he/she chooses as it will be tested in the LPT.

Do I need to register in NATS portal before applying?

Yes, candidates are must register in the NATS 2.0 portal (www.nats.education.gov.in) and receive a valid Enrolment ID. Candidates must use the ID when filling out the Indian Bank Apprentice application. Only the graduates who completed their degree on or after 1 April 2021, will be registered by candidates on the NATS platform and will be recognised for this apprenticeship.

Candidates need to upload a recent passport size photograph, signature, left-thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration in the format mentioned in the notification. At the document verification, candidates may also be required to present educational certificate, caste certificate (where applicable), and identity card.
