UP Police SI Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Conditions
A Jr. Engineers should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree from any Indian university that is recognized. The applicant should be of good character, in sound health, and meet other prescribed conditions of eligibility. The candidate must also qualify for all the levels of selection, i.e., written examination, physical test, and medical examination.
Age Limit: For Soldier Tradesman and Soldier, Candidates’ age should be between 21 and 28 years as on 01 July 2025. The government rules have age relaxation in favor of the reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC).
Physical Requirements
- Minimum height: male General/OBC/SC: 168cm; chest: 79-84cm.
- Tallest height requirement of ST male applicants: 160 cm; chest: 77-82 cm.
- Minimum height of female applicants: 152cm (General/OBC/SC) and 147cm (ST).

Selection Process for UP Police SI Recruitment 2025
The selection will occur in five primary stages:
Written Examination
- Objective type paper of 400marks in 2 hours.
- 35% in every subject and 50% aggregate.
Physical Test And Document Verification (PST)

- Height, chest, and weight will be measured according to the respective category standards.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Males: 4.8 km running within 28 Minutes.
- Females: 2.4 km distance under 16 Minutes.

Exam Pattern for UP Police SI Recruitment 2025
UP Police SI Recruitment 2025 is conducted to check the knowledge, aptitude, and reasoning ability of the candidates to crack the examination. It will be of an objective type, consisting of General Hindi, Law & Constitution, with General Knowledge, Numerical Test, and Mental Aptitude Test. The test will be of a total of 400 marks in 2 hours. The candidate needs to score 35% in each subject and 50% in the overall aggregate.
