- Navigate to the “Recruitment” section and locate the Constable (General Duty) Sports Quota 2025 notification.
- Read the full notification to confirm eligibility.
- Click the “Apply Now” link to start the online application process.
- Fill in the application form with accurate details.
- Upload required documents: sports certificates, matriculation and educational proofs, caste and relaxation certificates (if applicable), 4 passport photos, NOC (if employed), domicile proof and pay Rs. 147 application fee.
- Pay the application fee (Rs. 147.20 for General/OBC) online.

Selection Process
- Documentation:
- Verification of identity (including biometric capture).
- Submission of original and self-attested copies of documents (age, education, caste, sports achievements etc).
- Candidates who fail to produce the required documents will be rejected.
- Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Measurement of height, chest (males) and weight.
- Female candidates must submit a pregnancy status declaration; those who are non-pregnant will be allowed to participate, while pregnant candidates will be declared temporarily unfit and re-examined six weeks post-confinement upon submission of a medical fitness certificate.
- Candidates failing PST will be eliminated.
- Merit List:
- Based on sports achievement marks (Para 4(b)(iii)).
- Tie-breaking will be based on: higher marks, national over international achievements, event level (National Championship > Senior National > National Open), younger age and alphabetical order of name.
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME):
- Conducted as per MHA guidelines.
- Candidates failing DME can appeal for Review Medical Examination (RME) within 24 hours with a Medical Fitness Certificate (Annexure-VI) and Rs. 25 fee via Indian Postal Order.
- BSF Medical Board’s decision is final. No second RME appeal allowed.
