CGPSC State Service Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 265 Posts
Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has published the notification for the State Service Examination 2025 to fill 265 vacancies pertaining to various administrative and other posts under the Chhattisgarh State Services. Eligible candidates can submit online applications from December 1, 2025 to December 30, 2025. The preliminary exam shall be held on February 22, 2026, while the main exam is tentatively scheduled for May 16-19, 2026. The selection will be through a preliminary exam, main exam and an interview. This recruitment presents a good opportunity for aspirants in view of State Civil Service Jobs in India.

- Ranges from Rs. 25,300/- (Level-6) for Assistant Jail Superintendent to Rs. 56,100/- (Level-12) for top posts like Deputy Collector and DSP.
Selection Process
- Candidates have to take the preliminary examination, an objective-type test to shortlist candidates for the main exam.
- Shortlisted candidates then appear for the main examination, which is a descriptive written test designed to judge knowledge and analytical ability.
- Candidates who qualify are then subjected to an interview or personality test to judge the merit of their decision-making, communication and their suitability for state services.
- Verification of documents is carried out for checking educational qualifications, category certificates and other related documents.
- Finally, a merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the main exam and personality test for deciding the names of selected candidates.

- Register your details and Log in.
- Fill the form-including choices of posts from appropriate categories and Cities for examination.
- Upload necessary documents (photo, signature, proof for category and age relaxation).
- Pay the application fee through online payment.
- Check and submit form. No Off-line / postal applications are accepted for State Services Examination 2025.
- Take a printout for future reference.
- Note: One free correction allowed only.
FAQs
The candidate must have obtained their degree from any University that is recognised. Age Limit for both General candidates and SC, ST, OBC, Women, Persons with Disabilities, ex-servicemen is required to be between 21 and 30 years of age of these positions. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply and any preference that may be granted for a position as a local resident of Chhattisgarh will be applied only to Chhattisgarh residents for particular positions.
The application date opens from December 29, 2025 through to December 30, 2025 for free corrections and from January 03, 2026 until January 05, 2026 for Rs. 500/- for paid corrections. Only registered applications for the CGPSC will be accepted for submission.
Candidates will be required to take a Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview/Personality Test as part of the Selection Process. The final Merit List will be developed from marks obtained on both the Main Examination and Interview and from a Document Verification Process verifying the candidate’s eligibility, proper verification of the candidate’s Certificates and Credentials.
