Retired or working Professors may also apply for eligible posts. Terms of Contract & Benefits
- Tenure: 1 year (Teaching Faculty) extendable up to 3-5 years; Senior Resident: 3 years (residency) or 1 year (GDMO)
- Termination: 1 month notice; Resignation: deposit 1 month salary
- Attendance: Manual + Aadhaar Enabled Bio-metric Attendance (AEBAS)
- Private Practice: Not allowed
- No PF, Pension, Gratuity, Seniority or Medical allowance

- Visit www.esic.gov.in and go to the “Recruitments” section.
- Go to the page recruitment of teaching faculty and senior residents and download application form.
- Complete the application form with all the necessary information.
- Include self-authenticated scanned copies of: Class 10 th certificate, MBBS marks sheets / degree, MD/ MS/ DNB marks sheet /degree, latest NMC/ Punjab Medical Council registration, evidences of publications with indexing, experience certificate, NOC or proof of NOC application (where relevant), recent passport-size photograph, Aadhaar card, ICMR/NMC approved Biomedical Research certificate (where relevant), NMC approved Medical Education Technology certificate (where relevant) and valid EWS/ OBC/ SC/ ST/ PwD certificate
- Include a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (if applicable) in favor of ESI Fund A/c No. 1, payable at Ludhiana.
- Email the completed application and documents to dean-ludhiana.pb@esic.gov.in by 25th October 2025 for the first round.

Applicants should be able to fulfill the educational and experience criteria according to the current NMC standards. Faculty Teaching Faculty jobs demand graduate and experience in relevant postgraduate degrees and experience, whereas Senior Resident demand MBBS or MD/MS/DNB credentials based on specialization. Faculty and Senior Resident are 69 and 45 years old, respectively and relaxed according to the government standards. New registration with NMC or Punjab Medical Council is required and government employees are to give an NOC, where necessary.
The applicants are required to carry original certificates and self-attested copies, 10th marksheet, MBMS and MD/MS/DNB degrees, medical council registration, experience certificates, publications proof, NOC or proof of application to NOC, caste/EWS/PH certificate (where applicable) and a recent passport-size photograph. Yes, the General candidates, OBC and EWS candidates are to pay Rs. 500/- through Demand Draft, which is payable at Ludhiana. SC, ST, female candidates, ESIC regular employees, Defence Ex-Servicemen and PwD candidates are not exempted. Only in case of applying beforehand, it is to be paid; otherwise, walk-in participants are free to show up without submitting the fee.
