Gariaband District (Chhattisgarh) Office of the District Education Officer has posted the Gaurav Shiksha Pradayak (Honorary Education Provider) Recruitment 2025 application of the qualified candidates in the area. This is a provisional initiative on a honorarium basis, meant to deal with teacher shortages in Government Pre-Middle Schools (Classes 6-8) within the blocks of Gariaband, Chhura, Mainpur and Devbhog. The opportunity is under the existing Government Teaching Jobs in India, which gives local applicants an opportunity to serve their community. Application should be done offline by December 10, 2025 to candidates who have a Bachelor degree (B.Ed. preferred). The selection is based on merit where service of 2 months ( January 2026 to February 2026) costs 8,000 per month. The residents of Gariaband district are the only eligible. Pay Scale

- Deduction: Pro-rata deduction for absence/non-working days.
Selection Process
- The choice is made on a merit basis (not exceeding 75 marks).
- Marks were based on the amount of percentage received in Graduation.
- Extra 10 points to the applicants with a B.Ed. qualification.
- Locality weightage (one only applicable) 20 marks: same Gram/Nagar Panchayat resident, 10 marks: same Block resident; or 5 marks: Gariaband district resident.
- Candidates get 5 additional marks for past service in the same school (with a valid certificate). If two candidates score the same, the older candidate gets preference.

- Access the official site https://gariyaband.gov.in
- Click on sub-menu of “Recruitment” in the “Notice” section of the homepage.
- Download the advertisement which is called “Advertisement for recruitment of Gaurav Shiksha Pravidhar for 02 months”.
- Get the application form as required which is attached to the advertisement download and print it.
- Complete and fill the application form in the correct format.
- Include self-certified photocopies of necessary documents (Graduation marksheet, B.Ed. certificate where applicable, domicile/residence proof, age proof, experience certificate where applicable and recent photograph)
- Send a different application per school, in case it has many schools.
- Hand over the filled in application either by hand or by registered/speed posts to the different Block Education Officer (Chhura / Gariyaband / Devbhog / Mainpur) before the latest date of December 10, 2025.

The candidates should be people of Gariaband district whose age should not exceed 35 and less than 18. It will require a Bachelors degree with a B.Ed. qualification being desirable. The applicants have to provide the corresponding certificates to demonstrate the local residence. Only individuals that fit these eligibility requirements will be given a chance at the 59 honorarium-based teaching positions in different Government Pre-Middle Schools during the January February 2026 period.

In case there is an equal score, the tiebreaker is an age. The respective Block Education Officer will issue the final list of the selected candidates and appointments are valid only on a temporary basis of two months teaching.
