HCSL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 5 Graduate & Diploma Posts
Posted on: August 4, 2025The wholly-owned subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Limited, a leading Mini Ratna Schedule ‘A’ Government of India Company, Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited (HCSL), has declared Apprentice Recruitment 2025-26. Online application is being invited from suitable Graduate and Diploma holders in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering residing in West Bengal for a one-year Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973. The online application will be available up to 26th August 2025 through the NATS portal. The candidates will be selected based on the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, followed by verification of certificates and medical fitness.

Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on percentage of marks in qualifying examination. Tie-breaker: Year of passing (senior first).
- Certificate Verification: Original and self-attested copies required. Absence of originals will result in disqualification.
- Final Selection: Based on merit/reservation and subject to medical fitness.

- Go to the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in.
- For registered candidates on the previous portal (portal.mhrdnats.gov.in): Activate your account by using the “Forgot Password” feature on the student login page.
- For new registrants: Click “Student,” choose “Student Register,” and fill in the registration form to get a unique Enrolment Number.
- Login to the NATS portal using your credentials.
- Look for “HOOGHLY COCHIN SHIPYARD LIMITED” in the “Apply against advertised vacancies” section.
- Click “Apply” to apply for the post (the status will reflect “applied”).
- Make sure all information in the application form is complete and accurate.
