Kangra at Dharamshala, District Kangra (Himachal Pradesh) Office of the Deputy Director, Animal Health/Breeding has given an announcement related to 122 posts of Multi Task Worker (Pashu Mitra) in a part time basis (4 hours per day). The eligible candidates with the required qualifications and the qualifications in terms of residence are invited to apply off-line before February 05, 2026. Selection Process
- Applicants take a qualifying Physical Fitness Test, which requires carrying 25 kg weight for 100 meters within one minute.
- The Pashu Mitra Engagement Committee (PMEC) prepares a 100-mark merit list based on educational qualification (85 marks), experience in animal husbandry, location preference, category and other prescribed criteria.
- Each veterinary institution shortlists a panel of five candidates strictly on the basis of merit for the next stage.
- The committee calls shortlisted candidates for counselling, where it verifies original documents.
- The department issues final engagement offers to selected panel members after confirming fulfillment of all eligibility conditions.

- Visit the official departmental website at http://hpagrisnet.gov.in.
- Navigate to the “Animal Husbandry” section and locate the advertisement titled “Advertisement notice for engagement of Pashumitr in Distt. Kangra”.
- Carefully read the entire advertisement in order to verify the eligibility, vacancy details and list of documents required.
- Copy the prescribed application form given as Annexure-A or duplicate it in A-4 size paper as it is.
- Write your application form in your own hand and use only brown or black ink ball point pen.
- Include photocopies of all the required documents such as; residency, educational, certificates of bonafide Himachali and category certificates, which are to be self-attested.
