Pay Scale
- Rs. 34,000/- per month (fixed) as Job Trainee.
Selection Process
- Objective Type Screening Test (Paper-I): 100 marks
- Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) (Paper-II): 120 marks
- Personality Test: 30 marks
- Final merit on the basis of SAT + Personality Test marks

FAQs
Applicants should have an MBBS degree permitted by the Medical Council of India or NMC and have already finished an obligatory rotating internship. The age must be between 18 to 45 years on January 01, 2025 with concession on reserved categories, Ex-Servicemen and government employees according to rules. In addition to a post-graduate degree/diploma and experience in Himachal Pradesh traditions, etiquette and dialects would be preferred.
There are 232 openings of Medical Officer (General Wing), Class-I (Gazetted), Job Trainee. These are unreserved vacancies, SC and ST vacancies, OBC, EWS vacancies and reserved posts: Ex-Servicemen vacancies, Wards of Freedom Fighters vacancies and physically handicapped vacancies. The selection will include Paper-I Screening Test (MCQs), Paper-II Descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) and Personality Test. Paper-II marks and Personality Test are added to obtain the final merit. Qualifying marks are 40% and 30% respectively in the case of General and reserved categories. Negative marking in Paper-I is, whereby, a 0.25 mark deduction is done on a question that is answered incorrectly or not answered at all.
