Physical Requirements for Fireman

• Minimum height: 165 cm (2.5 cm relaxation for Scheduled Tribes).
• Measurement of chest circumference: 81.5 cm (when relaxed) and 85 cm (when fully expanded).
• Minimum requirement for weight: 50 kg.
• Carry a 63.5 kg man for 183 meters in a maximum time of 96 seconds.
• Must clear a 2.7-meter ditch in a long jump and climb a 3-meter rope using hands and feet.

Selection Process

• The written test is offline, OMR-based, objective type for 150 marks with 0.25 negative marking and a duration of 2 hours.
• The question paper is bilingual (English and Hindi) and syllabus is based on minimum qualifications for each post.
• Question paper structure varies by post: Highly Skilled-II/ Skilled/ Fireman (5 parts), Telephone Operator/ Storekeeper/ LDC (4 parts) and Cook/ Washerman/ Tradesman Mate (4 parts).
• For those shortlisted, skill tests and physical tests are qualifying in nature. However, physical tests are to be undertaken for Fireman recruit only.
• All documents will be verified, biometric capture occurs along with admit card and additional valid ID proof (valid Passport, Aadhaar, PAN or Driving License). and requires admit card plus proof of identity with valid ID proof (valid Passport, Aadhaar, PAN or Driving License).

• The application should provide a valid email ID, along with a mobile number connected to Aadhar.
