Age Limit
- Maximum age: 28 years (for UR category).
- SC/ST: Relaxation up to 5 years.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Relaxation up to 3 years.
- PwBD: Relaxation up to 10 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation up to the extent of service rendered in Defence + 3 years.

Pay Scale
- Monthly CTC: Rs.30,000/- per month (including statutory deductions).
- Daily Allowance: Rs.350/- per day for on-duty onboard trains.
- Lodging Charges: Rs.240/- per night (if night stay involved).
- National Holiday Allowance (NHA): Rs.384/- per National Holiday (if worked).
- Medical Insurance: Rs.1,400/- per month (up to 35 years).
- Medical Insurance: Rs.2,000/- per month (for 36–50 years).
Selection Process

- Documentation verification followed by personal interview.
- Merit list drawn up; offer to be issued subject to prior verification & medical fitness.
- Reserve Panel of 46 candidates will be held on hand.
