- Physical Efficiency Test includes 1-mile race, high jump, long jump and shot put.

- Technical Proficiency Test for Urban Technical Home Guards with qualifying marks of 30/100.
- Merit list prepared based on test performance and notification provisions.
- Document verification, medical examination and police character verification for selected candidates.
- Basic Home Guard training at Jharkhand Home Guard Headquarters, Ranchi, for verified candidates.
- Enrollment as Home Guard and issuance of enrollment certificate upon successful training completion.

Steps to Apply for Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment 2025
- Go to the official recruitment portal of recruitment.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Go to the Recruitment area and find the notification of the “District Commandant, Jharkhand Grih Raksha Vahini.”
- Review the entire notification to establish eligibility.
- To commence the online application, just click on the Apply Now available link.
- Provide all the necessary information correctly in the application form.
- Add a recent color photo and signature and other certificates (self-attested).
- Make the application fee of 100 INR through the online payment gateway.
