The Jharkhand Home Defense Corps, Simdega, has released Advertisement No. 01/2025 for the recruitment of Home Guards in Simdega District. - Register a new account by providing your basic details such as name, email, mobile number and creating a password if you do not have an existing account.
- Log in to your account using the registered credentials.

FAQs
The candidates should be citizens of the Simdega district. In case of rural posts, an applicant must at least have completed 7th grade, whereas in case of urban posts, a minimum of 10th grade qualification is required. The age must be 19 to 40 years as of 01/01/2025. Applicants are also required to satisfy the physical requirements stated in regard to height and chest size. Urban technical posts need technical proficiency and a record of appropriate experience or certification must be provided in the online application system.
The applicants are required to apply online via the official JAP IT Ranchi portal between 24/10/2025 -07/11/2025. No applications will be accepted offline or by postal. The application fee of Rs. 200 must be paid via the online payment link. All required documents, including photo, signature, educational certificates and proof of residence, should be uploaded in self-attested format to complete the application successfully.
The selection includes a physical fitness test, Hindi writing test and technical proficiency test for eligible candidates. Scores from these assessments determine the merit list. Successful candidates will undergo medical examination and police verification before final appointment. Preference is given to candidates with state or national-level sports achievements, which are awarded additional points.
