Remuneration Details
- Pay Scale: Rs. 37,500 – Rs. 76,100/- (as per the 7th Pay Commission).
- Probation: 2 years 6 months for direct recruits.
- Training: 9 month basic training to the selected candidates at police training school assigned for it.

Recruitment Procedure for KSP Constable Recruitment 2026
- Written Test: Candidates have to take up a written test of 100 marks in General Knowledge, Science, Geography, History, Constitution of India, National Movement, Mental Ability and Moral Education. The duration of the examination is 1.5 hours with a minimum passing percentage of 30%. This stage is crucial in the selection procedure for the Government Jobs in Karnataka.
- Endurance Test (ET): Candidates qualifying the written test (1:5 ratio) would need to take up an endurance test involving running, jumping and throwing the shot put.
- Medical Test: Candidates qualifying the ET test would have to take up the Medical test, in order to confirm that they fulfill the physical and fitness criteria for the job.
- Final Selection: The final merit list would be created taking into account the marks of the written test of candidates qualifying all the above tests. Reservation norms are applicable as per Karnataka Government Guidelines.
