Important Service Conditions and Applicant Instructions

• Contractual appointment: KVK employees will be working as contractual project staffs during the period of required ICAR funding.

Hiring Process

• Farm Manager and Programme Assistant candidates will be selected based on marks obtained in a written test of 150 marks for 2 hours duration.
• The Stenographer applicants have to first appear in a written test of total 150 marks with General English and General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude having 50 marks each.
• Stenographer candidates are called for a 50 mark skill test in the ratio of 1 to 4 from the written test merit list.
• Final Stenographer merit list is prepared by adding the written test marks with Skill test marks.
• The criteria for the written test are 50% for UR, 45% for SEBC and 40% for ST, SC and PwD candidates.
• In case of a tie in aggregate marks, the candidate with the better written test marks will be put first, followed by the senior in age, followed by the candidate who has a better percentage on the desirable qualification (or better degree for Stenographer).
• The University might not conduct the process or fill up the posts and contract of qualified candidates will be done with KVKs under OUAT for Government Jobs in Odisha.
