Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (Mahatransco) has released a notification for engaging apprentices in the Electrician trade (Category I) at its EHV O&M Division in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961, for the 2025-26 training session. This is a great chance to have Government Jobs for Engineers in India, especially the ITI qualified candidates in the field of electricians, who were looking to acquire practical experience working in one of the best state PSU. The qualified candidates possessing the necessary qualifications will be invited to apply online before December 24, 2025. Make sure that you fit the eligibility requirements such as education and age restriction. Recruitment will be made on the basis of ITI and SSC merit (there will not be any interview and other examinations).

- Visit the official apprenticeship portal at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- Enrol as a candidate and submit an application under Establishment Registration No. E05202700375 for EHV O&M Division, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
- Take a screenshot/printout of the online application.
- Complete the prescribed application form and provide accurate information.
- Close self-attested copies of required documents: SSC certificate/marksheet (for date of birth and marks), ITI Electrician marksheets (all 4 semesters), Aadhaar card, Caste certificate (if applicable), EWS certificate (if applicable), Non-Creamy Layer certificate (if applicable for backward classes), online application.

FAQs
Applicant should have successfully passed 10th standard (SSC) and should have successfully completed two years ITI course in Electrician trade in an institute recognized by NCVT. At least one year of experience in apprenticeship is not permitted and the age requirement of 18-38 years should be satisfied as of December 24, 2025 with exception in case of reserved categories.
Online registration must be done at the site: apprenticeshipindia.gov.in with the establishment number E05202700375 until December 24, 2025. Then, deliver a hard copy of application form, online screen shooting and self-attested documents (marksheets, Aadhaar, caste/EWS certificates etc. when necessary) to the given office address until December 31, 2025.
It is mainly based on merit which is computed as aggregate marks in all the four semesters of ITI plus the SSC marks. Rules of reservation are to be taken into consideration and then there is a check of documents and a compulsory medical exam. No interview is conducted.
