Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MAHATRANSCO) has invited applications for the selection of Apprentices for 2025 for the ITI Electrician trade under 400 KV Substation Division, Waluj, which forms part of the latest Government Jobs for Engineers in India are providing ITI candidates with good training and exposure to a career in the power sector. The eligible candidates may register through the online absorption portal of Apprenticeship India on or by December 22, 2025, 11:59 PM. Make sure you meet all eligibility criteria such as educational qualifications, age limit and reservation norms. Selection will be based on the merit of SSC + ITI marks with shortlisted candidates being medically verified.

Selection Process
- Applications for the Apprenticeship should be submitted online through the related web portal before the due date.
- The applicants must dispatch the printed application form together with necessary credentials to the below-mentioned Office.
- The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks of SSC (10th) and ITI (Electrician).
- Eligible reservations will be in accordance with the company and the government.
- Shortlisted candidates are required to undergo medical examination by the District Civil Surgeon.

- Visit the official website at https://www.mahatransco.in/
- Open the Career section and find “Apprenticeship Advertisement for the year 2025-2026” in respect of 400 kV R.S. Division, Waluj.
- Register on https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/ and fill in the online application form, taking a screenshot of the submitted application.
- Collect the documents required: SSC marksheet, ITI marksheets and Aadhaar card; a caste certificate/ EWS certificate/ SEBC certificate, if applicable.
- Enclose self-attested photocopies of the documents along with the completed application form.

This is a recruitment program that has been initiated by the government to hire ITI Electrician trade apprentices who are based in Waluj. The interested participants can apply for the apprenticeship program on the Apprenticeship Portal of India and all the relevant documents have to be submitted before the deadline specified for the same. The selection of the participants will be done on merit performance in both SSC and ITI, along with clearing medical tests.
