Candidate applying for an Assistant Professor post should have a Master’s Degree in the subject as per the requirement with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. The candidate should have qualified the NET/SLET/SET or should have a PhD in accordance with the UGC regulations. The applicant should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the state of Manipur and the candidate must possess proficiency in the Manipuri/Meitei language or local tribal dialect.
