National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) is a Navratna Central PSU who has recently declared vacancies of Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) based on GATE-2025 scores in the field of Mechanical, Electrical and Chemical Engineering. The application will be made online since January 02, 2026. Selection Process
- Initial short listing of candidates will only be done using GATE-2025 marks by NALCO.
- The shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of valid GATE-2025 marks on a ratio of 1:10 discipline-wise and category-wise.
- The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed personally.
- The final shortlisting will be done on the basis of GATE-2025 (90% weightage) and Personal Interview (10% weightage) combined weighted marks.
- Final appointment will be done through merit list as per discipline and category.

The candidates should possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering/M.E/M.Tech in Mech with a relevant Ph.D. degree from a UGC-recognized university or AICTE-approved institute with 6 -10 years of relevant experience in any government-funded industries or research and development organizations. A valid GATE-2025 score is also required.
Shortlisting and final selection will be done on the basis of GATE-2025 Marks (90%) and Personal Interview (10%). Eligible and shortlisted candidates are selected on the basis of GATE score discipline-wise and category-wise. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview and selected on the basis of GATE Marks along with interview performance.
The selected candidates are offered a basic pay of Rs. 40,000/- with an pay scale of Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 1,40,000/- during training. However, after training, they are employed as an Assistant Manager (E1 grade) with an pay scale of Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 1,80,000/- along with allowances, medical, performance-related pay and so on.
