Ministry of Finance, Government of India, Department of Financial Services is inviting application for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company Ltd. (NCGTC), a fully owned Government of India company incorporated on March 28, 2014, under the Companies Act, 1956. The candidates from Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Financial Institutions (FIs) of the Department of Financial Services meeting the eligibility conditions may apply for this prestigious Finance Government Jobs in India role on or before November 11, 2025. Pay Scale
- Equivalent consolidated pay of CGM level of SIDBI for contractual appointment.

Selection Process
- The selection committee to be led by Secretary with Executive Director appointed by RBI, two experts appointed by FSIB and Joint Secretary (IF Division, DFS) Member Secretary.
- Evaluation on 50% weightage of APAR grades (2020-21 to 2024-25, max. 10 marks per year; previous years taken into account if APARs are not received).
- Judgment by 50% weightage on interaction with committee to assess technical abilities, managerial abilities, range of experience, economic awareness and personality.
- Ranked recommendations with comments forwarded to Finance Minister for sanction.
- Pre-appointment clearance from vigilance of PSB/FI CVO, Central Vigilance Commission and RBI.

FAQs
The applicants eligible should be Chief General Manager/General Manager rank officers from Public Sector Banks/FIs of the Department of Financial Services. They should possess sound leadership skills, a strong track record of financial management and at least two years of residual service as of the date of the vacancy.
The selection is through an interaction with a committee and scrutiny of the past five APARs of the candidate. Final selection and appointment shall be concluded by the Finance Minister.
