North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), an Schedules ‘A’ Mini Ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, entirely owned by NTPC, invites applications for a total of 98 Apprenticeship Training for the FY 2025-26 under the Apprenticeship Act of 1961. The duration of training is one year and eligible candidates from North East India may apply through specified online portals until November 08, 2025. Selection Process
- Candidates will be sourced from the Apprenticeship Portals (NATS 2.0/NAPS).
- Selection based on merit (marks secured in degree/diploma/ITI course).
- Preference given to candidates from the state where the power station is located; remaining seats filled by candidates from other NE states based on merit.

- Go to the Career section to see the “Advertisement No : NEEPCO/05/2025 Date: 21/02/2025”
- Register as a candidate and get a valid enrolment ID.
- Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in/
- Log in with the registered ID and password.
- Click “Apply Now” against the selected establishment and stream, given eligibility criteria are fulfilled.
- Upload mandatory documents (academic certificates, age proof, caste/PwD certificate, Aadhaar-seeded bank details).
- Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
For ITI Trade Apprentices

- Go to the Career section to see the “Advertisement No : NEEPCO/05/2025 Date: 21/02/2025”
- Register yourself as a candidate and receive a valid enrolment ID.
- Go to the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
- Log in with the registered ID and password.
- Apply for the chosen trade, upload necessary documents (ITI pass certificate, marksheets, age proof, caste/PwD certificate, Aadhaar-seeded bank details).
- Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
FAQs
Shortlisted candidates must be from the North East region of India and must possess the requisite educational qualification for their stream of interest. Graduates, diploma holders and ITI candidates who have completed the course on or after March 31, 2024 are eligible. Applicants must have valid ID for Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID or Passport for registration.
Interested applicants can register online through the respective portals – NATS 2.0 for candidates and diploma holders and NAPS for ITI subjects. Candidates need to login, search for opportunities in NEEPCO using advertisement ID or opportunity code and fill the application form carefully.
The selection will be based on merit to the extent marks gained in the concerned degree, diploma or ITI courses. The officials will give preference to state applicants for the location of the power station. Shortlisted candidates will receive call letters through email and a final list is posted on the official NEEPCO website.
