NLC Security Guard Recruitment 2025-26 – Apply Online for 30 Posts
Navratna Public Sector Enterprise, NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has announced the opening for the Security Guard position with W-3 Grade only for Ex-Service Personnel in the Neyveli Units of the company. Interested applicants with qualifications in the armed forces may apply for the job online starting from December 22, 2025, until January 20, 2026. This is one of the PSUs Recruitment in the Latest PSU Jobs in India. The candidates shall be selected on the grounds of the Written Test with 70% weightage, subsequent Service & Performance Rating with 15% weightage and lastly the Physical Test with 15% weightage.

Selection Process
- Candidates first undergo the verification of their documents before the eligibility test is held.
- Written Test for 100 Marks with overall weightage of 70%.
- Service Weightage and Performance Rating from Discharge Book evaluation (maximum 20 marks, 15% weightage).
- Physical Test comprising Run/Walk, Sit-ups and Push-ups (a maximum of 30 marks, 15% weightage with all being compulsory).
- Final merit list after category-wise aggregation with tie-breakers as per notified criteria applied.

- Check the notification thoroughly to verify the eligibility criteria

- Complete the registration by providing a valid mobile number and email ID
- Fill in the online application form with correct personal, academic and military details
- Attach the scanned copies of the required documents in the given format and size.
- If any, pay the processing fee of Rs. 236/- through the available online payment methods
- After the completion of the process, submit your application and keep a hard copy of the form for your records
FAQs
Candidates must be ex-servicemen, at least a Havildar, Petty Officer and Sergeant rank, from the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force. The candidates must have served in the military for at least 15 years and must be registered with their district Sainik Welfare Board. Educational qualification is a pass in X Std./Matric. The candidate should only apply if he has achieved a “Very Good” or higher rating and his medical category at retirement is “AYE” or “SHAPE-I”.
The choice involves a Written Test (carrying a weightage of 70 percent), a Service & Performance Rating (carrying a weightage of 15 percent) and a Physical Test (carrying a weightage of 15 percent). Pass requirements apply for a Written Test. The performance and services recorded in the discharge book are used for final evaluation. Project Affected Persons (PAPs) belonging to NLCIL Neyveli projects can avail maximum Bonus Marks of 20 on the Written Test.
First, the shortlisted candidates will be placed as an employee in the NLCIL units at Neyveli, Tamil Nadu. They might also be allocated to any other unit, region and subsidiary firm in India, as decided by NLCIL.
