Ordnance Factory Bhandara (OFBA), a unit of Munitions India Ltd. under the government of the ministry of defence, issued a notice regarding the recruitment of Technician Apprentices for the year 2025. The advertisement is applicable to qualified candidates who possess a diploma. Applications will be accepted offline and submitted until December 15, 2025. Selection Process
- Only aggregate marks obtained in the entire Diploma course shall be the basis for drawing up the merit list.
- In the case of CGPA/SGPA, the candidates are required to submit an official conversion certificate to percentage, failing which, the candidate will be disqualified.
- The shortlisted candidates will next be called for Document Verification, Medical Examination and Police Verification.
- Final selection will depend upon successful verification of the originals of all documents, medical fitness and a clear police verification report. There shall be no written test or interview.

- Download the application form from the official website https://munitionsindia.in
- Go to Career section to find the “Engagement of Technician Apprentice” (Diploma Apprentice).
- Fill in the application form in BLOCK LETTERS and affix a recent color passport-size photograph, which should be self-signed.
- Attach a self-attested photocopy of the Diploma mark sheets, Aadhaar card, SSC certificate/Age proof certificate and caste certificate if applicable. Please also attach a PwBD certificate issued by identifications, Mention the CGPA-to-Percentage conversion certificate if applicable, Declaration/ Affidavit and Police Clearance & Character Certificate(s) from two Gazetted Officers.
- In bold writing, mention on top of the envelope: “Application for Technician Apprenticeship Training in O.F. Bhandara”.
- Applicants must send the duly filled application form only via ordinary, registered or speed post to: The Chief General Manager, Ordnance Factory Bhandara (Unit of Munitions India Ltd.), At/Post – Jawaharnagar, Tahsil & District – Bhandara, Maharashtra – 441906.
- Applications complete in all respects must reach the factory on or before December 15, 2025.
- Applications received after this date will be rejected, even if there is a postal delay.

FAQs
Applicants must have a Diploma in Engineering or Technology in corresponding trades through a recognized State Board, University or Institutes. It is open only to regular full-time diploma holders who have passed their course after February 01, 2021. Graduates, PG or persons with over one year of work experience cannot apply. Candidates should be 14 years old or older with respect to age with the under 18 years needing the consent of the guardians to sign the contract.
There are 50 vacancies in the scheme of OFBA Technician Apprentice Recruitment 2025. There are Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, where the category is reserved to SC, ST, OBC (NCL), UR and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). All trades have individual allocations, which are fairly represented and observed by the government norms. The candidates have the option of the type of trade they qualify and are interested to receive apprenticeship training.
Selection will be made based on merit which will be computed based on the total marks attained in the final year of the diploma course.
