Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. (OHPC), a Govt. of Odisha Gold-rated State PSU, is recruiting Technical Non-Executive (TNE) Trainees in Electrical, Mechanical, Welder, Crane Operator and Store Keeper disciplines. Indian nationals who are bright, qualified and energetic can apply online till December 11, 2025, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. Selection will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT), Document Verification and Medical Examination. Selected candidates will undergo 1-year training with a stipend of Rs. 22,700/- and will be regularized in Pay Scale Rs. 25,500/- – Rs. 81,100/- across OHPC Units/Project Sites in Odisha. FAQs
The applicants must be eligible in terms of education qualifications and age as stated by OHPC. In technical posts, the candidate needs to possess relevant ITI certificates and, in some cases, NAC certification. The trainees of the Store Keeper must have a degree in commerce and a diploma in computer applications. The age relaxations include SC/ST/SEBC/Women, PWD and Ex-Servicemen according to the Odisha government rules. Each of the candidates will be required to apply online in order to get a Unique Registration Number.
Applications are only received online through the OHPC official website. Candidates must select Career — Current Openings — Recruitment to the position of TNE Trainees. Once they are registered with a valid email and a mobile number, they need to fill in the personal and education information, upload some required documents, including a photograph, signature and certificates, pay the application fee and lastly put in the form, retaining a print out to refer to later.
There is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) on general aptitude and trade knowledge, verification of documents and a medical fitness test, which is conducted at specified OHPC centers. Mark achieved in CBT is used to constitute the final merit list. The application after training will be restricted only to those students who meet all the eligibility criteria and have passed a medical test. The procedure is not only transparent and fair towards all applicants.
