OPSC AAO Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 118 Posts

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced a new job opportunity in the form of the Assistant Agriculture Officer (Group-B) in the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment in the Government of Odisha in Advertisement No. 06 of 2025-26. One hundred and eighty permanent posts will be vacated under this recruitment drive and it will be an excellent opportunity to persons desiring to work in PSC Government Jobs in India. • SC/ST/PwD: Exempted

Pay Scale

• Pay Level: Level-10, Cell-1 (ORSP Rules, 2017)
• Basic Pay: Rs. 44,900/- per month

Selection Process

• The candidates will also take Written Examination of 200 marks that will consist of two objective-type papers (Paper-I and Paper-II) of 100 marks each consisting of 200 MCQs that are to be taken in a duration of two hours.
• There are negative marking of 0.25 marks each on a wrong answer and 0.0 on unanswered questions.
• The Commission will set the minimum qualifying marks in the written test and will shortlist the candidates in 1:2 ratios to the vacancies.
• The shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification and Personality Test (Interview) of 25 marks.
• Aggregate marks out of 225 will be used to prepare final merit list where some tie-breaking criteria will be used.

• On the homepage, go to the “What’s New” section and click on Advertisement No. 06 of 2025-26.
• Read the full notification thoroughly to confirm eligibility and instructions.
• Click on the “Apply Online” option, accessible starting January 10, 2026.
• Get / create your Permanent Public Service Account Number (PPSAN).
• Enter all the online application form fields with necessary personal and educational information.
• Submit recent passport sized photograph, full signature, left thumb impression and supporting documents in prescribed format.
• Remit the feasible examination fee of Rs. 700/- (waived in case of SC/ST/PwD) by the deadline of January 27, 2026.
• Review the application and fix any necessary corrections needed and submit by the last date of January 30, 2026 (5.00 P.M.).
