Selection Process for POWERGRID Apprentice Recruitment 2026
- Merit-Based Screening: The applicants are screened on the basis of the marks secured in the required qualification for Graduate Apprentice Vacancies in Maharashtra and Gujarat, Rajasthan and other locations.
- Document Verification: The selected applicants, including those seeking Government Jobs in UP, are invited for document verification on a 1:5 ratio.
- Medical Fitness: The final appointment is subjected to medical fitness in accordance with the Apprentice Act.
- Contract Registration: The selected applicants must accept and sign a tri-party contract on the designated NATS/NAPS portals.
- Police Verification: The appointment is strictly subject to a police verification report submitted by the applicant.
Pay Scale
- ITI Electrician: Rs. 13,500/- per month.
- Diploma Trades: Rs. 15,000/- per month.
- Graduate/Executive Trades: Rs. 17,500/- per month.
- Additional HRA: Rs. 2,500/- per month if company accommodation is not provided.

Eligibility To be eligible to participate in POWERGRID Recruitment 2026, a candidate should have a full-time regular ITI or Diploma or Degree in any engineering or non-engineering stream.
