West Central Railway Act Apprentice Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 2865 Training Slots
Posted on: August 21, 2025West Central Railway (WCR) invites Online applications from eligible Indian nationals for engagement as Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for training in designated trades across various Units/Workshops for 2865 slots for the year 2025-2026. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications and age limits, are encouraged to apply online by 29th September 2025. Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from 10th class and ITI/Trade marks.

Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years (15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC)
- Ex-Servicemen: Additional 10 years (service rendered in Defence Forces + 3 years, subject to a minimum of 6 months continuous service).

Selection Process
- Merit List: Based on average marks in 10th class (or equivalent) and ITI/Trade marks.
- Document Verification: Conducted by the respective division/unit.
- Tie-Breaker: Preference to older candidates; if dates of birth are the same, preference to earlier matriculation passers.
- Final Merit List: Prepared trade-wise, division/unit-wise and community-wise.
- Waiting List: Candidates from other divisions/units may be allotted in case of shortfalls.
