RCF Kapurthala Act Apprentices Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 550 Posts
Rail Coach Factory (RCF) Kapurthala, Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has invited applications for recruitment under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 for the year 2025 for eligible Indian nationals. Applications are invited online till up to 24:00 hours on January 07, 2026 from eligible Indian nationals possessing the qualifications of 10th pass with a minimum of 50% marks and ITI Certificate in the relevant trade. The selection process shall be based on merit based on the average of the mark percentages of Matriculation and ITI followed by document verification and medical examination. After selection, candidates will undergo a one-year apprenticeship training at Technical Training Centre RCF Kapurthala under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. Selection Process
- Merit is the criteria for selection according to the average marks of Matriculation and ITI.
- Candidate has to secure minimum 50% marks in Matriculation.
- In case of tie, older candidates will be preferred; if age is same, date of passing Matriculation will be taken into account.
- Final merit list prepared trade-wise as well as category-wise against available vacancies.

- Visit the official RCF website at https://www.rcf.indianrailways.gov.in
- Go to the notification regarding imparting training under the “Apprenticeship Act 1961” for the year 2025-26.
- The full notification (i.e. Notice No. A-1/2025) must have been read carefully by you and other eligibility conditions therein must be strictly followed.
- Click on the “Apply Online” link to initiate your application procedure.
- Enter personal details and educational qualifications and preferences to trade with accuracy.
- Upload scanned passport-size photograph (3.5cm x 3.5cm, JPG, 20-70 KB, recent) and signature (3.5cm x 3.5cm, JPG, 20-30 KB).
- Application fee will be paid online (if any) via debit/credit card, net banking or SBI Challan (after 2 working days of submission of the form).
- Check the application once again, submit it and note down the registration number.
- Take a printout of the filled application along with the e-receipt for future reference (to be produced for document verification).

Indian candidates will be required with 10th class with a minimum of 50 percent marks and with an ITI certificate in the trade. The age must be 15 to 24 years as on January 07, 2026 with relaxations being applicable to SC, ST, OBC, PWD and ex-servicemen. The applicants should also have the National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT to qualify as the apprenticeship program.
The interested candidates can make their applications online on the official RCF Kapurthala site. The application will need submission of personal and educational information, a recent passport sized photograph and signature and a web payment of the applicable online fee. Once submitted, a registration number is created, which should be kept in reference to use in future when the documents are inspected and other recruitment processes.
It is selected on the basis of merit which is computed as an average of matriculation and ITI marks.
