Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and working under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has issued an RRCAT Trade Apprenticeship Recruitment 2025 for 150 Trade Apprentice vacancies under the Apprentices Act 1961. Application is invited from Indian Nationals who are ITI qualified for engagement as Trade Apprentices for a period of one year, effective from 09/02/2026 with a monthly stipend of Rs. 11,600/-. How to Apply for RRCAT Trade Apprenticeship Recruitment 2025
- Visit the RRCAT website https://www.rrcat.gov.in/
- Go for the notification and application link for “Engagement of 150 Trade Apprentices”.
- Register on the NAPS Portal https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in with your Aadhaar and upload the required documents (DOB proof, 10th & ITI Mark sheets, photo, signature, caste/disability certificate, respective).
- Note down your NAPS Registration Number.
- Use that NAPS Registration Number to register in the RRCAT Apprenticeship Portal.
- Fill out the online application, select one trade per application and upload all the required documents (max 300 KB each).
- Review and submit the application, download and print the acknowledgment for your reference.
FAQs
All applicants must be Indian citizens with an ITI certificate in the applicable trade. They must also meet all eligibility age requirements stated in the official notification. Additional benefits will go to candidates with higher technical qualifications and/ or relevant experience. Only candidates that completely meet these conditions shall apply through the RRCAT Apprenticeship Portal for the available 150 Trade Apprentice positions.
Before applying, you must register on the NAPS Portal with Aadhaar and upload documents for application. Once you have the NAPS Registration Number, you must visit the RRCAT Apprenticeship Portal to complete your profile, fill in the online application form in full, select your trade, upload all required documents and submit. All information must be perfectly matched with what is in the official records for avoid rejection.
The training period for selected candidates begins on the February 09, 2026, that is, a one-year program. During that time, the apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 11,600/-. The training is designed to impart thorough hands-on experience on their respective trades under the Apprentices Act of 1961 to promote practical exposure to them in a government research environment.
