SGPC Teaching Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 147 Posts
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) which is the directorate of education has declared teaching posts in different schools under its management in the academic year 2026-27. The application will be accepted online until January 5, 2026, to qualified Sikhs. They are great Government Teaching Jobs in India that are offered to ardent teachers. The selection will be done on the basis of written test/ interview and appointment will be on ad-hoc basis till the culmination of session 2026-27 Candidates are suggested to submit their applications early to avoid last minute problems. Selection Process

- Create an account using simple information in case of a new user, do so; in case of an already registered user, use the existing credentials.
- Complete the right personal, academic and professional information in the application form.
- Attach scanned documents of your photograph, signature and certificates in the prescripted manner.
- Make the Rs. 500/- application fee payment online through the option given.
- Thoroughly check the completed form, submit it online and print a copy for future reference.

The applicants should be qualified Sikh instructors according to the academic and professional qualifications of the SGPC. The eligibility is mostly related graduation and post-graduation degrees in teaching subjects, B.Ed. certification and any stipulated experience. There are also age restrictions and category relaxations. Before filling the online applications, prospective applicants must go through the official notification to the latter to confirm they are qualified.
To apply, the interested applicants should go to the official SGPC site and in the section of the site named as Notice board, they should find the advertisement on the session 2025-26. Once registered on the portal, the applicant is able to complete online form, attach the required documents, pay application fee and send the form. One should be encouraged to save a copy of the completed application to be used in future.
This will be done through the selection process which includes written examination consisting of multiple choices based on teaching aptitude, knowledge of the subject area and general awareness and an interview. The combined test and interview performance is used to determine final merit. There is an ad-hoc basis of offering the appointment in the case of the 2026-27 session, which is to ensure that the teaching positions are taken by qualified and deserving candidates.
