SHS Bihar Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 1075 Senior & Lab Technician Posts under NHM
Posted on: August 25, 2025The State Health Society, Bihar, under the National Health Mission (NHM) invites online applications from suitable Indian nationals for contractual engagement to the posts of Senior Laboratory Technician and Laboratory Technician to reinforce pathological testing services and deliver quality healthcare at District Hospitals, Sub-Divisional Hospitals, Referral Hospitals, Community Health Centres, Primary Health Centres and Health and Wellness Centres (APHC/HSC) in Bihar. Application should be submitted online on or before 15th September 2025. The candidates should satisfy the eligibility requirements, i.e., educational qualifications, age limit and experience. Selection will be done based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and work experience. Work experience up to 20 marks, 5 marks per annum, pro-rated for fractions of a year.

Selection Process
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 75 multiple-choice questions, 1 mark each, total 75 marks, scaled to 80 marks.
- Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- Exam duration of 75 minutes.

- Minimum qualifying marks: General – 40%, BC – 36.5%, EBC – 34%, SC/ST/Women/PwD – 32%.
- Work experience up to 20 marks, 5 marks per annum, pro-rated for fractions of a year.
- Document verification of selected candidates in a 1:2.5 ratio.
- Final merit list prepared based on CBT symbols, work experience and reservation rules.
