SJVN Apprenticeship Recruitment 2026 update jobs for aspirants of Himachal Pradesh state, Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (SJVN) has opened the online application process. Applications are invited for Graduate, Diploma as well as ITI Apprenticeships in accordance with the prescribed guidelines of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. Selection Process
- Selection will be based purely on merit.
- No interviews will be taken.
- Merit will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in 10th, 12th/Diploma and Degree/ITI.
- In the case of a tie, preference will be given to the one older in age.
- The shortlisted candidates will have to present all original certificates and medical fitness at the time of verification.

This is an initiative by Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (SJVN), a Navratna PSU to offer one year training to Graduate, Diploma and ITI students domiciled in Himachal Pradesh. It is an attractive alternative to freshers who wish to get exposure in the field of engineering and technical trades as stipends range from Rs. 12,000 – Rs. 15000/-.
The candidates must be permanent residents of Himachal Pradesh in order to apply. The applicants have to possess the necessary qualifications like full-time engineering diploma, degree or ITI certificate in the concerned trade. Also, the age will be 18-30 years with concessions to the reserved groups according to the government standards.
The process of selection is merit based and it is not an interviewing process. Shortlisting is based on the marks in academic qualification of the candidates. In the case of Graduate Apprentices, 10th, 12th/ Diplomas and degree marks are considered weighted. The same is also applicable to Diploma and ITI apprenticeships as it is transparent and fair in terms of recruitment.
