Selection Process
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE): 100 questions, 100 marks, 90 minutes; negative marking 0.25; cut-off – UR/EWS: 40, SC/ST/OBC: 35, ESM: 30.
- Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT): Qualifying, conducted by Delhi Police with endurance and measurement standards.
- Trade Test: Qualifying, 150 marks; a score of 50 percent in each part will be required.
- Document Checking: This is done as part of PE&MT along with the checking of the HMV license through DigiLocker.
- Medical Examination, which is done in government hospitals by the Delhi Police.
- Final Merit List: Filled based on CBE marks; separate filling of reserved vacancies.
- Reserve Panel: 15% candidates who are in reserves of the Delhi Police.

- Finish the registration (OTR) once on the SSC site.
- Go to the notification of Recruitment and locate Constable (Driver) Male in Delhi Police Examination, 2025.
- Go through the entire notification to be eligible.

FAQs
The candidates should be 21/30 years old Indian males on July 1, 2025. They must have done 10+2 education and have a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license. The candidates are also required to have driving skills and knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Age relaxation allowance to SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and departmental candidates is given according to the government regulations.
The recruitment has Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT), Trade Test, Document Verification and a Medical Examination. The shortlisting in the subsequent stages is based on CBE scores, whereas PE&MT and Trade Tests are of a qualitative nature. CBE performance is used as the final merit, with reserved vacancies being filled separately. A backup pool of 15% applicants is kept.
The mode of registration is through the my SSC mobile or the official website of the SSC. One-Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory and a live picture, signature and other pertinent certificates are to be uploaded. General/OBC/EWS candidates will be charged an application fee which may be paid online and SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen are not charged. All applications must be made by October 15, 2025.
