Office of the District Education Officer, Sukhatisgarh (Chhattisgarh) has issued a press release for hiring Sakshar Doot (literacy ambassador) against recruitment under Model Literacy Program 2025-26. This program, in partnership with Niti Aayog and the Sukma District Administration, is intended to create awareness about Literacy in the aspiration district of SUGM by establishing model knowledge centers in selected Gram Panchayats. Educated local natives of respective Gram Panchayats who aspire for Government Jobs in Chhattisgarh are requested to appear for a walk-in interview October 15, 2025. The scheme aims to provide basic literacy education (reading, writing, numerical) to illiterates, school and semi-literates with particular emphasis on women.

Selection Process
- 70% weightage: Marks obtained in 10th class.
- 10% weightage: Experience in literacy motivation/volunteer teaching (max 10 marks).
- 20% weightage: Interview performance.
- Selection Committee chaired by CEO District Panchayat with DEO Sukma and Block CEO as nodal officers.

- Check eligibility: Be a resident of the concerned gram panchayat and fulfill educational/age requirements.
- Prepare documents: Original and self-attested 10th marksheet, Aadhaar/ID proof, residence proof, experience certificates (if any) and 2 passport photos.
- Visit the center: Report on October 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Block Education Officer’s Office, Konta/ Sukma/ Chhindgarh (or as intimated).
- Interview: Attend the selection interview; emphasize dedication to literacy work and community service.
