Posted on: July 4, 2025Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has officially released the TPSC Agriculture Officer Vacancy 2025 notification for 136 vacancies under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare. Eligible Indian citizens holding a degree in Agriculture or Horticulture are invited to apply online between 24th July 2025 and 20th August 2025. The recruitment includes PH, Ex-servicemen and Women’s reservation as per the rules. Candidates will be selected based on a written test followed by an interview/personality test.

Selection Process
- Written examination of 180 marks (MCQ-based)
- Interview/personality test of 20 marks.
- Duration of exam: 3 hours
- Negative marking: 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
- Candidates shortlisted for interview based on written exam marks.
- Shortlisting ratio: 1:5 (1 post = 5 candidates and so on).
- Merit list prepared by combining marks of written test and interview.
- Tie resolved by candidate’s age seniority.
- If tie persists, higher percentage in educational qualification considered.
- Final selection based on total merit score.
- Only candidates appearing in written test are eligible for interview.
