Office of Deputy Commissioner Self Employment has recently announced recruitment in Accountant and MIS Assistant positions for Model Cluster Level Federations (MCLFs) under the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM) Prerna (Department of Rural Development, Amethi, UP) in Amethi. These resourceful positions support member-owned, member-managed and financially sustainable institutions under DAY-NRLM. Only qualified female applicants are solicited to apply from self-help groups (SHGs) of UPSRLM. All applications must be sent to the concerned home/related CLF on or before December 6, 2025. Selection Process
- Selection will follow UPSRLM guidelines, including verification of eligibility, experience and interviews/tests.
- The MCLF reserves the right to cancel/modify the process at any stage.
- Approved candidates will receive training at Mission HQ before deployment.
- Progress monitoring as per MoRD review (Oct 2023) emphasizes timely staffing for financial management, BDP preparation and VGF disbursement.

FAQs
Applications are open to only female candidates who belong to UPSRLM women self-help groups (SHGs). Candidates must be within the age range of 21–45 years and must have completed grade 12 min. educational qualifications. In addition, applicants must also demonstrate experience in supervising and managing SHGs, maintaining financial records or managing routine accounts and records for the roles of Accountant and MIS Assistant through experience as described in the position descriptions.
Applications must be submitted by December 06, 2025 to the designated home or appropriate CLF location. Application forms are located at the following locations: Local Level Federation’s office, Gram Organization, Block Mission Management Unit and on the DMMU bulletin boards located in Amethi. Applicants are encouraged to complete all application forms prior to the closing date to maximize the opportunity for selection.
The primary basis for selection will be the experience of the candidates working with and/or managing SHGs and federations and keeping accurate financial records. Candidates who demonstrate aptitudes that include the ability to effectively manage financial resources, maintain accurate financial records and maintain proficiency using computers will be given preference over candidates lacking these abilities.
