District Child Protection Unit, Dantewada with the mandate of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, has announced recruitment for various contractual posts in government childcare institutions, Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) and Child Welfare Committee (CWC) under the Mission Vatsalya Scheme of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. Interested candidates meeting the qualification criteria may apply by December 15, 2025, to fill Government Jobs in Chhattisgarh. The applications must be submitted to the Office of the District Program Officer/District Women and Child Development Officer, Women and Child Development Department, Dantewada. Tenure
- Initial 3 years or scheme duration (whichever earlier); extendable up to 3 more years based on performance.

Selection Process
- Prepared merit list according to marks: 70% on educational qualification percentage and 10 marks maximum for extra experience.
- The top five candidates are called for a personal interview (20 marks) and a skill test, if required, for every vacancy (1:5).
- Final merit: Total marks plus the interview. Preference given to the older of the tied candidates, then the one with higher academic marks.
- Waiting list: 25% or 3 candidates, whichever is greater, valid for a period of 1 year.
- Appointing Authority: District Collector (ex-officio Chairman, District Child Welfare & Protection Committee).

- Go to Notices section to find the Recruitment of “Child Welfare Committee under the Mission Vatsalya Scheme”.
- Fill out the application form completely and correctly. Incomplete/vague applications will be rejected without notice.
- Attach self-attested copies of all required documents: educational certificates, experience certificates, caste certificate (in case reservation), age proof and NOC, if applicable.
- For marriage-related eligibility (i.e. no child marriage; if polygamous, must prove government exemption), attach selected notarized affidavit on Rs. 50 stamp paper.
- Super-scribe the envelope with: “Application for the post of [Post Name]”, your name and complete address. Separate application for each post.
- Send via Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier to: District Program Officer, Women and Child Development Department, Dantewada, Chhattisgarh.
- Include correct contact details (address, email, mobile) for communication.
